RNA Size Is Only Part of IVT RNA QC
Agarose gel electrophoresis can help determine whether an RNA sample appears near the expected transcript size, but it does not quantitatively measure residual double-stranded RNA.
dsRNA can arise as a byproduct during in vitro transcription and therefore represents a separate analytical question from RNA size and integrity.
