PKmito ORANGE FX (SC054)

PKmito ORANGE FX (also known as PKMO) is a unique fluorescent probe for mitochondria imaging in fixed cells. Due to its very low phototoxicity, high photostability and high brightness, it is highly suited to image mitochonridal cristae structure and dynamics by STED superresolution microscopy using a 775 nm depletion line. PKmito ORANGE FX does not require any transfection and works just by adding the probe to the cells and imaging 30 minutes later. 1 vial of PKmito ORANGE FX in lyophilised form allows preparation of 50 ul of 1000x DMSO stock solution (100 stainings). For staining live (unfixed) cells, use SC053 PKmito ORANGE.
