Involved in several processes, including cellular response to glucose starvation; intrinsic apoptotic signaling pathway by p53 class mediator; and regulation of gene expression. Located in several cellular components, including cytosol; nuclear lumen; and rDNA heterochromatin. Part of chromatin silencing complex.
