Embark on a journey into the world of platelet biology and hemostasis with our Anti-CD41 (Integrin alpha 2b) Antibody, now available in a convenient 100µg size. CD41, also known as integrin alpha 2b, is a critical component of the platelet fibrinogen receptor complex, facilitating platelet aggregation and clot formation.
Our meticulously developed monoclonal antibody offers exceptional specificity and sensitivity for researchers investigating platelet function and thrombosis. With 100µg at your disposal, you have a generous supply for multiple experiments, reducing the need for frequent reordering and ensuring the continuity of your research.
Explore the intricate mechanisms underlying CD41-mediated platelet aggregation, adhesion, and its pivotal role in hemostasis and thrombosis. Investigate the molecular interactions that govern platelet biology, contributing to our understanding of clotting disorders and potential therapeutic interventions.

BACKGROUND
The integrins are a superfamily of cell adhesion receptors that bind to extracellular matrix ligands, cell-surface ligands, and soluble ligands(PMID: 17543136). They are transmembrane αβ heterodimers and at least 24 distinct integrin heterodimers are formed by the combination of 18 α and eight β known subunits(PMID: 17543136; 20029421).
