Dive deep into the realm of cell division control and regulatory proteins with our Anti-Cdc20 Polyclonal Antibody, now available in a convenient 100µg size. Cdc20, or cell division cycle 20, is a critical regulator of the cell cycle, orchestrating the transition from metaphase to anaphase by activating the anaphase-promoting complex/cyclosome (APC/C) and promoting the degradation of key cell cycle regulators.

Our meticulously developed polyclonal antibody, derived from rabbit hosts, offers exceptional sensitivity and versatility for various research applications. Whether you're investigating Cdc20's role in mitosis or exploring its significance in cancer biology, this antibody's polyclonal nature allows recognition of multiple epitopes, enhancing its utility in diverse research contexts.

With 100µg at your disposal, you have a generous supply for multiple experiments, reducing the need for frequent reordering and ensuring the continuity of your research.

Explore the intricate role of Cdc20 in regulating the cell cycle, its interactions with APC/C, and its implications in maintaining genomic stability. Investigate the molecular intricacies of Cdc20-mediated processes, advancing our understanding of cell division control and its potential therapeutic implications.

BACKGROUND

Required for full ubiquitin ligase activity of the anaphase promoting complex/cyclosome(APC/C) and may confer substrate specificity upon the complex. Is regulated by MAD2L1: in metaphase the MAD2L1-CDC20-APC/C ternary complex is inactive and in anaphase the CDC20-APC/C binary complex is active in degrading substrates. The CDC20-APC/C complex positively regulates the formation of synaptic vesicle clustering at active zone to the presynaptic membrane in postmitotic neurons. CDC20-APC/C-induced degradation of NEUROD2 induces presynaptic differentiation.
