The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the G-protein coupled receptor family 2. This protein is a receptor for parathyroid hormone (PTH) and for parathyroid hormone-like hormone (PTHLH). The activity of this receptor is mediated by G proteins which activate adenylyl cyclase and also a phosphatidylinositol-calcium second messenger system. Defects in this receptor are known to be the cause of Jansen's metaphyseal chondrodysplasia (JMC), chondrodysplasia Blomstrand type (BOCD), as well as enchodromatosis. Two transcript variants encoding the same protein have been found for this gene.

Introducing the PTH/PTHRP-R Monoclonal Antibody, a highly effective and reliable product designed to target and detect parathyroid hormone (PTH) and parathyroid hormone-related protein receptor (PTHRP-R) in various biological samples. This monoclonal antibody is produced using advanced techniques and is characterized by its high specificity and sensitivity, making it an ideal tool for research and diagnostic applications.

The PTH/PTHRP-R Monoclonal Antibody is suitable for use in a wide range of applications, including Western blotting, immunohistochemistry, and flow cytometry. It is designed to recognize and bind to the PTH/PTHRP-R protein with high affinity, enabling accurate and precise detection of the target protein in various biological samples.

This product is manufactured to the highest quality standards, ensuring consistent and reliable performance in every application. It is supplied in a convenient and easy-to-use format, making it an ideal choice for researchers and clinicians alike.

In summary, the PTH/PTHRP-R Monoclonal Antibody is a highly effective and reliable product that offers exceptional performance in the detection of PTH and PTHRP-R in various biological samples. Its high specificity and sensitivity, combined with its ease of use, make it an essential tool for research and diagnostic applications.
