This gene encodes a member of the CCAAT/enhancer-binding protein (C/EBP) family of transcription factors. The protein functions as a dominant-negative inhibitor by forming heterodimers with other C/EBP members, such as C/EBP and LAP (liver activator protein), and preventing their DNA binding activity. The protein is implicated in adipogenesis and erythropoiesis, is activated by endoplasmic reticulum stress, and promotes apoptosis. Fusion of this gene and FUS on chromosome 16 or EWSR1 on chromosome 22 induced by translocation generates chimeric proteins in myxoid liposarcomas or Ewing sarcoma. Multiple alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding two isoforms with different length have been identified.

The CHOP Mouse Monoclonal Antibody (1E1) is a highly specific and reliable tool for the detection and analysis of the C/EBP homologous protein (CHOP). This antibody is produced using advanced monoclonal antibody technology, ensuring exceptional quality and consistency.

The CHOP Mouse Monoclonal Antibody (1E1) exhibits exceptional affinity and specificity towards CHOP, making it an ideal choice for various applications, including Western blotting, immunohistochemistry, and immunofluorescence. Its high sensitivity allows for accurate and precise detection of CHOP in a wide range of samples.

This antibody has been extensively validated and characterized, guaranteeing its performance and reliability. It has been tested in various cell lines and tissues, demonstrating its consistent and robust performance across different experimental conditions.

The CHOP Mouse Monoclonal Antibody (1E1) is supplied in a convenient and ready-to-use format, ensuring ease of use and saving valuable time in the laboratory. It is provided in a liquid formulation, allowing for immediate application without the need for reconstitution.

With its exceptional specificity, sensitivity, and reliability, the CHOP Mouse Monoclonal Antibody (1E1) is an indispensable tool for researchers studying CHOP and its involvement in various cellular processes and diseases.
