This gene encodes a transmembrane protein, which is located primarily in the endoplasmic reticulum and ubiquitously expressed with highest levels in brain, pancreas, heart, and insulinoma beta-cell lines. Mutations in this gene are associated with Wolfram syndrome, also called DIDMOAD (Diabetes Insipidus, Diabetes Mellitus, Optic Atrophy, and Deafness), an autosomal recessive disorder. The disease affects the brain and central nervous system. Mutations in this gene can also cause autosomal dominant deafness 6 (DFNA6), also known as DFNA14 or DFNA38. Alternatively spliced transcript variants have been found for this gene.

The WFS1 polyclonal antibody is a highly specific and reliable tool designed for the detection and analysis of WFS1 protein expression. This antibody has been meticulously developed using advanced techniques to ensure exceptional sensitivity and accuracy in various applications, including Western blotting, immunohistochemistry, and immunofluorescence.

The WFS1 polyclonal antibody exhibits outstanding affinity towards the WFS1 protein, enabling precise identification and quantification of this target in complex biological samples. Its exceptional specificity ensures minimal cross-reactivity with other proteins, guaranteeing reliable and reproducible results.

This antibody is manufactured using state-of-the-art production processes, ensuring consistent quality and performance batch after batch.
