WASF4P (WAS protein family member 4, pseudogene) is a pseudogene belonging to the family of genes encoding Wiskott-Aldrich syndrome (WAS) proteins, which are involved in the transmission of signals to the actin cytoskeleton. Wiskott-Aldrich syndrome is a disease of the immune system. This pseudogene, which is apparently not transcribed, most closely resembles WASF4P encoding the WAS protein family member 2, which is located on chromosome 1.
The WAVE4 polyclonal antibody is a highly specific and sensitive tool for the detection and quantification of WAVE4 protein expression in various biological samples. This antibody is produced by immunizing rabbits with a synthetic peptide corresponding to a unique sequence of the human WAVE4 protein. The resulting polyclonal antibody exhibits high affinity and specificity towards the target protein, making it an ideal reagent for a wide range of applications, including western blotting, immunohistochemistry, and immunofluorescence. The WAVE4 polyclonal antibody is supplied as a purified IgG fraction, which has been affinity-purified from rabbit serum using a protein A column. This ensures that the antibody is of the highest quality and purity, with minimal background noise and cross-reactivity. The WAVE4 polyclonal antibody is an essential tool for researchers studying the role of WAVE4 in various cellular processes, including cell migration, adhesion, and cytoskeletal organization. With its high sensitivity and specificity, this antibody is a valuable addition to any laboratory's toolkit for protein analysis.
