This gene encodes a component of vacuolar ATPase (V-ATPase), a multisubunit enzyme that mediates acidification of eukaryotic intracellular organelles. V-ATPase dependent organelle acidification is necessary for such intracellular processes as protein sorting, zymogen activation, receptor-mediated endocytosis, and synaptic vesicle proton gradient generation. V-ATPase is composed of a cytosolic V1 domain and a transmembrane V0 domain. The V1 domain consists of three A and three B subunits, two G subunits plus the C, D, E, F, and H subunits. The V1 domain contains the ATP catalytic site. The V0 domain consists of five different subunits: a, c, c', c", and d. Additional isoforms of many of the V1 and V0 subunit proteins are encoded by multiple genes or alternatively spliced transcript variants. This encoded protein is one of two V1 domain A subunit isoforms and is found in all

The VATA Polyclonal Antibody is a highly specific and sensitive immunological reagent designed for the detection and quantification of VATA protein in various biological samples. This antibody is produced by immunizing rabbits with a synthetic peptide corresponding to the C-terminal region of the VATA protein. The resulting polyclonal antibody exhibits high affinity and specificity towards the VATA protein, making it an ideal tool for various applications in research and diagnostics.

The VATA Polyclonal Antibody is suitable for use in various immunoassays, including Western blotting, immunohistochemistry, and ELISA. It has been validated for use in human, mouse, and rat samples, and has been shown to detect VATA protein in a variety of tissues and cell types. This antibody is supplied as a purified IgG fraction, and has been tested for its specificity and sensitivity in various applications.

The VATA Polyclonal Antibody is a valuable tool for researchers studying the role of VATA protein in various biological processes, including neurotransmitter release, synaptic plasticity, and neuronal development. It is also useful for diagnostic applications, such as the detection of VATA protein in clinical samples for the diagnosis of neurological disorders. With its high specificity and sensitivity, the VATA Polyclonal Antibody is a reliable and effective reagent for a wide range of applications in the life sciences.
