The protein encoded by this gene belongs to the peptidase C12 family. This enzyme is a thiol protease that hydrolyzes a peptide bond at the C-terminal glycine of ubiquitin. This gene is specifically expressed in the neurons and in cells of the diffuse neuroendocrine system. Mutations in this gene may be associated with Parkinson disease.
The UCH-L1 Polyclonal Antibody is a highly specific and sensitive tool for the detection of UCH-L1 protein in various biological samples. This antibody is produced by immunizing rabbits with a synthetic peptide corresponding to the C-terminal region of human UCH-L1 protein. The resulting polyclonal antibody exhibits high affinity and specificity towards UCH-L1 protein, making it an ideal reagent for various applications such as Western blotting, immunohistochemistry, and ELISA.
The UCH-L1 Polyclonal Antibody has been extensively validated for its performance in detecting UCH-L1 protein in human, mouse, and rat tissues. It has been shown to recognize a single band of the expected molecular weight in Western blot analysis, and to exhibit strong staining in immunohistochemistry experiments. Additionally, this antibody has been shown to be highly sensitive, with a detection limit of 0.1 ng/mL in ELISA assays.
This UCH-L1 Polyclonal Antibody is supplied as a purified IgG fraction, and is suitable for use in a variety of research applications. It is recommended for use at a dilution of 1:1000 for Western blotting, 1:200 for immunohistochemistry, and 1:5000 for ELISA. With its high specificity, sensitivity, and versatility, the UCH-L1 Polyclonal Antibody is an essential tool for researchers studying UCH-L1 protein expression and function in various biological systems.
