This gene encodes subunit 3 of the splicing factor 3a protein complex. The splicing factor 3a heterotrimer includes subunits 1, 2 and 3 and is necessary for the in vitro conversion of 15S U2 snRNP into an active 17S particle that performs pre-mRNA splicing. Subunit 3 interacts with subunit 1 through its amino-terminus while the zinc finger domain of subunit 3 plays a role in its binding to the 15S U2 snRNP. This gene has a pseudogene on chromosome 20. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants.

The SF3A3 polyclonal antibody is a highly specific and sensitive immunological reagent designed for the detection and quantification of SF3A3 protein in various biological samples. This antibody is produced by immunizing rabbits with a synthetic peptide corresponding to a specific region of the SF3A3 protein. The resulting polyclonal antibody exhibits high affinity and specificity towards SF3A3 protein, making it an ideal tool for various applications such as western blotting, immunoprecipitation, and immunohistochemistry.

The SF3A3 polyclonal antibody is rigorously tested for its specificity and sensitivity to ensure consistent and reliable results. It has been validated for use in a wide range of species, including human, mouse, and rat. This antibody is supplied as a purified IgG fraction, which is suitable for use in various immunoassays.

In summary, the SF3A3 polyclonal antibody is a valuable tool for researchers studying the SF3A3 protein and its role in various biological processes. Its high specificity and sensitivity make it an ideal reagent for a wide range of applications, including western blotting, immunoprecipitation, and immunohistochemistry.
