This gene encodes a mitochondrial DNA-directed RNA polymerase. The gene product is responsible for mitochondrial gene expression as well as for providing RNA primers for initiation of replication of the mitochondrial genome. Although this polypeptide has the same function as the three nuclear DNA-directed RNA polymerases, it is more closely related to RNA polymerases of phage and mitochondrial polymerases of lower eukaryotes.

The RPOM polyclonal antibody is a highly specific and sensitive immunological reagent designed for the detection and quantification of RPOM protein in various biological samples. This antibody is produced by immunizing rabbits with a synthetic peptide corresponding to a unique epitope of the RPOM protein. The resulting polyclonal antibody exhibits high affinity and specificity towards the RPOM protein, making it an ideal tool for various applications in research and diagnostics.

The RPOM polyclonal antibody is purified using a combination of protein A and protein G chromatography, ensuring high purity and minimal cross-reactivity with other proteins. This antibody is available in various formats, including purified IgG, biotinylated, and fluorescently labeled, to suit different experimental needs.

The RPOM polyclonal antibody has been extensively validated for use in various applications, including Western blotting, immunohistochemistry, and ELISA. It has been shown to detect RPOM protein in a wide range of species, including human, mouse, and rat. This antibody is highly sensitive, with a detection limit of as low as 0.1 ng/mL, making it suitable for the detection of low-abundance RPOM protein in complex biological samples.

In summary, the RPOM polyclonal antibody is a reliable and versatile tool for the detection and quantification of RPOM protein in various biological samples. Its high specificity, sensitivity, and versatility make it an ideal reagent for various applications in research and diagnostics.
