This gene encodes a member of the steroid receptor superfamily. The encoded protein mediates the physiological effects of progesterone, which plays a central role in reproductive events associated with the establishment and maintenance of pregnancy. This gene uses two distinct promotors and translation start sites in the first exon to produce several transcript variants, both protein coding and non-protein coding. Two of the isoforms (A and B) are identical except for an additional 165 amino acids found in the N-terminus of isoform B and mediate their own response genes and physiologic effects with little overlap.
Introducing the PR(PHOSPHO SER294) Polyclonal Antibody, a highly specific and sensitive tool for the detection of phosphorylated serine 294 in the PR protein. This antibody has been rigorously tested and validated for use in a variety of applications, including Western blotting, immunoprecipitation, and immunohistochemistry.
The PR(PHOSPHO SER294) Polyclonal Antibody is produced using state-of-the-art techniques and is of the highest quality, ensuring reliable and reproducible results. It has been designed to recognize only the phosphorylated form of serine 294 in the PR protein, making it an ideal tool for studying the regulation of PR activity in various biological systems.
This antibody is supplied in a convenient format, with ample quantities available for multiple experiments. It has been extensively characterized and validated for specificity, sensitivity, and reproducibility, ensuring that it will provide accurate and reliable results in your research.
