Phosphoinositide 3-kinase gamma is a lipid kinase that produces the lipid second messenger phosphatidylinositol 3,4,5-trisphosphate. The kinase is composed of a catalytic subunit and one of several regulatory subunits, and is chiefly activated by G protein-coupled receptors. This gene encodes a regulatory subunit, and is distantly related to the phosphoinositide-3-kinase, regulatory subunit 5 gene which is located adjacent to this gene on chromosome 7. The orthologous protein in the mouse binds to both the catalytic subunit and to G(beta/gamma), and mediates activation of the kinase subunit downstream of G protein-coupled receptors. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants.

The PI3R6 Polyclonal Antibody is a highly specific and sensitive immunological reagent designed for the detection and quantification of PI3R6 protein in various biological samples. This antibody is produced by immunizing rabbits with a synthetic peptide corresponding to the C-terminal region of human PI3R6 protein. The resulting polyclonal antibody exhibits high affinity and specificity towards PI3R6 protein, making it an ideal tool for various applications such as Western blotting, immunohistochemistry, and immunofluorescence.

The PI3R6 Polyclonal Antibody is purified using a combination of protein A and peptide affinity chromatography, ensuring high purity and minimal cross-reactivity with other proteins. This antibody has been extensively validated for its specificity and sensitivity in various biological samples, including human, mouse, and rat tissues.

The PI3R6 protein is a member of the phosphoinositide 3-kinase (PI3K) regulatory subunit family, which plays a crucial role in various cellular processes such as cell growth, proliferation, and survival. Dysregulation of PI3K signaling has been implicated in various diseases, including cancer, diabetes, and cardiovascular diseases. Therefore, the PI3R6 Polyclonal Antibody can be a valuable tool for studying the role of PI3R6 protein in various physiological and pathological processes.

In summary, the PI3R6 Polyclonal Antibody is a highly specific and sensitive immunological reagent that can be used for the detection and quantification of PI3R6 protein in various biological samples. Its high affinity and specificity make it an ideal tool for various applications in research and diagnostics.
