This gene encodes a member of the CXC chemokine family. This chemokine is released from the alpha granules of activated platelets in the form of a homotetramer which has high affinity for heparin and is involved in platelet aggregation. This protein is chemotactic for numerous other cell type and also functions as an inhibitor of hematopoiesis, angiogenesis and T-cell function. The protein also exhibits antimicrobial activity against Plasmodium falciparum.
The PF-4 Polyclonal Antibody is a highly specific and sensitive immunological tool designed for the detection and quantification of PF-4 protein in various biological samples. This antibody is produced by immunizing rabbits with a synthetic peptide corresponding to a specific region of the PF-4 protein.
The PF-4 Polyclonal Antibody exhibits exceptional affinity and selectivity towards PF-4, enabling accurate and reliable results in a wide range of applications, including Western blotting, immunohistochemistry, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assays (ELISA). It has been rigorously validated to ensure consistent performance and reproducibility.
With its superior sensitivity, the PF-4 Polyclonal Antibody allows for the detection of even low levels of PF-4 protein, making it an invaluable tool for researchers and clinicians studying PF-4-related diseases and disorders. Its robust performance and high specificity ensure minimal cross-reactivity with other proteins, guaranteeing precise and reliable results.
The PF-4 Polyclonal Antibody is supplied as a liquid formulation, conveniently packaged in vials with various sizes to suit different experimental needs. It is ready-to-use, eliminating the need for time-consuming and complex preparation steps. The antibody is stable and can be stored at recommended temperatures for extended periods without compromising its performance.
In summary, the PF-4 Polyclonal Antibody is a highly reliable and sensitive tool for the detection and quantification of PF-4 protein. Its exceptional specificity, sensitivity, and ease of use make it an essential component in various research and diagnostic applications.
