The protein encoded by this gene catalyzes the hydrolysis of phosphatidylcholine to phosphatidic acid and choline. The activity of the encoded enzyme is enhanced by phosphatidylinositol 4,5-bisphosphate and ADP-ribosylation factor-1. This protein localizes to the peripheral membrane and may be involved in cytoskeletal organization, cell cycle control, transcriptional regulation, and/or regulated secretion. Two transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.

The PC-PLD2(Phospho Tyr169) Polyclonal Antibody is a highly specific and sensitive tool designed for the detection and quantification of PC-PLD2 protein phosphorylated at Tyr169. This antibody is produced using advanced polyclonal antibody production techniques, ensuring high affinity and specificity towards the target protein.

PC-PLD2, also known as phosphatidylcholine-specific phospholipase D2, is a key enzyme involved in the hydrolysis of phosphatidylcholine to generate phosphatidic acid. Phosphorylation of PC-PLD2 at Tyr169 has been shown to regulate its enzymatic activity and cellular functions.

The PC-PLD2(Phospho Tyr169) Polyclonal Antibody has been rigorously validated for its specificity and sensitivity through various experimental approaches, including Western blotting, immunoprecipitation, and immunofluorescence. It exhibits minimal cross-reactivity with other related proteins, ensuring accurate and reliable results.

This antibody is supplied as a liquid formulation, ready to use for various applications in molecular biology and cell biology research. It is compatible with multiple detection methods, including chemiluminescence, fluorescence, and colorimetric assays.

With its exceptional performance and reliability, the PC-PLD2(Phospho Tyr169) Polyclonal Antibody is an indispensable tool for researchers studying the role of PC-PLD2 phosphorylation in cellular signaling pathways, lipid metabolism, and various disease processes.
