This gene encodes a chromatin-associated enzyme, poly(ADP-ribosyl)transferase, which modifies various nuclear proteins by poly(ADP-ribosyl)ation. The modification is dependent on DNA and is involved in the regulation of various important cellular processes such as differentiation, proliferation, and tumor transformation and also in the regulation of the molecular events involved in the recovery of cell from DNA damage. In addition, this enzyme may be the site of mutation in Fanconi anemia, and may participate in the pathophysiology of type I diabetes.
The PARP-1 (Acetyl-K521) Polyclonal Antibody is a highly specific and sensitive tool designed for the detection and quantification of PARP-1 protein acetylated at lysine 521. This antibody has been rigorously validated for use in various applications, including Western blotting, immunoprecipitation, and immunofluorescence.
PARP-1, also known as poly(ADP-ribose) polymerase 1, is a nuclear enzyme involved in DNA repair and maintenance of genomic stability. Acetylation of PARP-1 at lysine 521 has been shown to regulate its enzymatic activity and protein-protein interactions, making it a crucial post-translational modification for the proper functioning of PARP-1.
The PARP-1 (Acetyl-K521) Polyclonal Antibody has been produced using high-quality immunogens and state-of-the-art techniques to ensure exceptional specificity and sensitivity. It has been extensively characterized using validated positive and negative controls to guarantee reliable and reproducible results.
This antibody exhibits minimal cross-reactivity with other acetylated lysine residues and non-acetylated PARP-1, ensuring accurate detection and quantification of PARP-1 acetylated at lysine 521. It demonstrates excellent performance in various experimental conditions, including different sample types and species.
The PARP-1 (Acetyl-K521) Polyclonal Antibody is supplied as a liquid formulation in a convenient size, allowing for easy handling and storage. It is provided in a ready-to-use format, eliminating the need for time-consuming and complex preparation steps.
With its exceptional specificity, sensitivity, and reliability, the PARP-1 (Acetyl-K521) Polyclonal Antibody is an indispensable tool for researchers studying the role of PARP-1 acetylation in DNA repair, genomic stability, and related cellular processes.
