The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the superfamily of ATP-binding cassette (ABC) transporters. ABC proteins transport various molecules across extra-and intra-cellular membranes. ABC genes are divided into seven distinct subfamilies (ABC1, MDR/TAP, MRP, ALD, OABP, GCN20, White). This full transporter is a member of the MRP subfamily which is involved in multi-drug resistance. This protein functions as a multispecific organic anion transporter, with oxidized glutatione, cysteinyl leukotrienes, and activated aflatoxin B1 as substrates. This protein also transports glucuronides and sulfate conjugates of steroid hormones and bile salts. Alternatively spliced variants of this gene have been described but their full-length nature is unknown.
The MRP1 Polyclonal Antibody is a highly specific and sensitive tool designed for the detection and quantification of the multidrug resistance-associated protein 1 (MRP1) in various biological samples. This antibody is produced using advanced techniques, ensuring its high affinity and specificity towards MRP1.
The MRP1 Polyclonal Antibody exhibits exceptional performance in a wide range of applications, including Western blotting, immunohistochemistry, and immunofluorescence. Its superior sensitivity allows for the accurate and reliable detection of MRP1 expression levels, enabling researchers to gain valuable insights into the role of MRP1 in drug resistance and its impact on various diseases.
This antibody is manufactured under stringent quality control measures, guaranteeing batch-to-batch consistency and reproducibility. Its exceptional purity and stability ensure optimal performance and long-term storage without compromising its functionality.
