This gene encodes a member of von Willebrand factor A domain containing protein family. This family of proteins is thought to be involved in the formation of filamentous networks in the extracellular matrices of various tissues. This protein contains two von Willebrand factor A domains; it is present in the cartilage extracellular matrix and has a role in the development and homeostasis of cartilage and bone. Mutations in this gene result in multiple epiphyseal dysplasia.
The MATN3 Polyclonal Antibody is a highly specific and sensitive tool designed for the detection and analysis of Matrilin-3 (MATN3) protein expression in various biological samples. This antibody is produced using state-of-the-art techniques, ensuring high affinity and specificity towards the target protein.
Matrilin-3 is a crucial extracellular matrix protein that plays a significant role in the development and maintenance of cartilage tissues. Abnormal expression or mutations in the MATN3 gene have been associated with various skeletal disorders, including multiple epiphyseal dysplasia (MED) and osteoarthritis.
The MATN3 Polyclonal Antibody exhibits exceptional performance in various applications, including Western blotting, immunohistochemistry, and immunofluorescence. It recognizes both native and denatured forms of the MATN3 protein, making it suitable for a wide range of experimental approaches.
This antibody has been extensively validated using a diverse panel of samples, ensuring reliable and reproducible results. It demonstrates minimal cross-reactivity with other related proteins, ensuring accurate detection and quantification of MATN3 expression.
The MATN3 Polyclonal Antibody is supplied as a ready-to-use solution, eliminating the need for time-consuming and error-prone antibody preparation. It is provided in a convenient format, allowing for easy storage and handling.
With its exceptional sensitivity and specificity, the MATN3 Polyclonal Antibody is an indispensable tool for researchers and clinicians studying the role of Matrilin-3 in skeletal development and disease. Its reliable performance and ease of use make it an ideal choice for a wide range of applications in the field of cartilage biology and pathology.
