The protein encoded by this gene belongs to the D-isomer specific 2-hydroxyacid dehydrogenase family. The similar protein in yeast has both D-lactate and D-glycerate dehydrogenase activities. Alternative splicing occurs at this locus and two transcript variants encoding distinct isoforms have been identified.
The LDHD Polyclonal Antibody is a highly specific and sensitive antibody designed for the detection of LDHD protein in various biological samples. This antibody is produced by immunizing rabbits with a synthetic peptide corresponding to the C-terminal region of human LDHD protein. The resulting polyclonal antibody has been purified using protein A affinity chromatography and is suitable for use in various applications, including Western blotting, immunohistochemistry, and ELISA.
The LDHD Polyclonal Antibody has been extensively validated for its specificity and sensitivity in detecting LDHD protein in various human tissues and cell lines. This antibody has been shown to recognize a single band of the expected molecular weight in Western blot analysis and to produce a strong signal in immunohistochemistry and ELISA assays.
This antibody is supplied as a liquid in phosphate-buffered saline (PBS) containing 0.02% sodium azide as a preservative. It is recommended to store the antibody at -20°C or below for long-term storage and to avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
In summary, the LDHD Polyclonal Antibody is a reliable and high-quality tool for the detection of LDHD protein in various biological samples. Its specificity and sensitivity make it an ideal choice for researchers studying the role of LDHD in various physiological and pathological processes.
