This gene is a member of the Src family of protein tyrosine kinases (PTKs). The encoded protein is a key signaling molecule in the selection and maturation of developing T-cells. It contains N-terminal sites for myristylation and palmitylation, a PTK domain, and SH2 and SH3 domains which are involved in mediating protein-protein interactions with phosphotyrosine-containing and proline-rich motifs, respectively. The protein localizes to the plasma membrane and pericentrosomal vesicles, and binds to cell surface receptors, including CD4 and CD8, and other signaling molecules. Multiple alternatively spliced variants encoding different isoforms have been described.

The Lck(Phospho Ser540) Polyclonal Antibody is a highly specific and sensitive tool designed for the detection and analysis of Lck protein phosphorylated at Serine 540. This antibody is produced using advanced polyclonal antibody technology, ensuring high affinity and specificity towards the target protein.

Lck, also known as lymphocyte-specific protein tyrosine kinase, plays a crucial role in T-cell development and activation. Phosphorylation of Lck at Serine 540 has been implicated in various cellular processes, including T-cell receptor signaling and immune response regulation.

The Lck(Phospho Ser540) Polyclonal Antibody is validated for use in various applications, including Western blotting, immunoprecipitation, and immunofluorescence. It exhibits excellent performance in detecting phosphorylated Lck protein in both cell lysates and tissue samples.

This antibody is produced using high-quality materials and undergoes rigorous quality control procedures to ensure batch-to-batch consistency and reliability. It is supplied as a liquid formulation, ready for immediate use without the need for reconstitution.

With its exceptional sensitivity and specificity, the Lck(Phospho Ser540) Polyclonal Antibody is an indispensable tool for researchers studying T-cell signaling pathways and investigating the role of Lck phosphorylation in various physiological and pathological conditions.
