Histones are basic nuclear proteins that are responsible for the nucleosome structure of the chromosomal fiber in eukaryotes. This structure consists of approximately 146 bp of DNA wrapped around a nucleosome, an octamer composed of pairs of each of the four core histones (H2A, H2B, H3, and H4). The chromatin fiber is further compacted through the interaction of a linker histone, H1, with the DNA between the nucleosomes to form higher order chromatin structures. This gene is intronless and encodes a replication-dependent histone that is a member of the histone H3 family. Transcripts from this gene lack polyA tails; instead, they contain a palindromic termination element. This gene is found in the large histone gene cluster on chromosome 6p22-p21.3.
The Histone H3 (Di Methyl Lys27) Polyclonal Antibody is a highly specific and sensitive tool for the detection and analysis of histone H3 protein modifications. This antibody is designed to specifically recognize and bind to the di methylated lysine 27 residue on histone H3, allowing for the precise identification and quantification of this specific modification.
Histone H3 is a key component of chromatin, playing a crucial role in the regulation of gene expression and chromatin structure. The di methylation of lysine 27 on histone H3 has been implicated in various biological processes, including transcriptional repression and the maintenance of cellular identity.
The Histone H3 (Di Methyl Lys27) Polyclonal Antibody has been rigorously tested and validated for its specificity and sensitivity in various applications, including Western blotting, immunohistochemistry, and chromatin immunoprecipitation. It exhibits minimal cross-reactivity with other histone modifications, ensuring accurate and reliable results.
This antibody is produced using high-quality materials and state-of-the-art techniques, ensuring consistent performance and reproducibility. It is supplied as a liquid formulation, ready for immediate use, and is available in various sizes to meet the specific needs of researchers.
With its exceptional specificity and sensitivity, the Histone H3 (Di Methyl Lys27) Polyclonal Antibody is an invaluable tool for studying histone modifications and their role in various biological processes. Whether investigating epigenetic regulation, chromatin remodeling, or gene expression, this antibody provides researchers with the confidence and accuracy needed to advance their scientific endeavors.
