This gene belongs to the ephrin receptor subfamily of the protein-tyrosine kinase family. EPH and EPH-related receptors have been implicated in mediating developmental events, particularly in the nervous system. Receptors in the EPH subfamily typically have a single kinase domain and an extracellular region containing a Cys-rich domain and 2 fibronectin type III repeats. The ephrin receptors are divided into 2 groups based on the similarity of their extracellular domain sequences and their affinities for binding ephrin-A and ephrin-B ligands. This gene encodes a protein that binds ephrin-A ligands. Two alternatively spliced transcript variants have been described for this gene.
The EphA3/4/5(Phospho Tyr779/833) Polyclonal Antibody is a highly specific and sensitive tool designed for the detection and quantification of phosphorylated tyrosine residues at positions 779 and 833 on the EphA3, EphA4, and EphA5 proteins. This antibody is produced using a polyclonal approach, ensuring a diverse range of epitope recognition and enhanced sensitivity.
The EphA3/4/5(Phospho Tyr779/833) Polyclonal Antibody exhibits exceptional specificity, as it has been extensively validated against a wide range of samples and has shown minimal cross-reactivity with non-phosphorylated tyrosine residues or other related proteins. This specificity guarantees accurate and reliable results, making it an ideal choice for various applications, including Western blotting, immunoprecipitation, and immunohistochemistry.
Furthermore, this antibody demonstrates excellent sensitivity, allowing for the detection of low levels of phosphorylated EphA3, EphA4, and EphA5 proteins. Its high affinity for the target epitopes ensures a strong signal-to-noise ratio, enabling the detection of even subtle changes in phosphorylation levels.
The EphA3/4/5(Phospho Tyr779/833) Polyclonal Antibody is supplied as a ready-to-use solution, eliminating the need for time-consuming and error-prone antibody preparation. It is provided in a convenient format, allowing for easy storage and handling.
In summary, the EphA3/4/5(Phospho Tyr779/833) Polyclonal Antibody is a reliable and efficient tool for the detection and quantification of phosphorylated tyrosine residues at positions 779 and 833 on the EphA3, EphA4, and EphA5 proteins. Its exceptional specificity, sensitivity, and ease of use make it an invaluable asset for researchers in the field of signal transduction and protein phosphorylation studies.
