The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the E2F family of transcription factors. The E2F family plays a crucial role in the control of cell cycle and action of tumor suppressor proteins and is also a target of the transforming proteins of small DNA tumor viruses. The E2F proteins contain several evolutionally conserved domains found in most members of the family. These domains include a DNA binding domain, a dimerization domain which determines interaction with the differentiation regulated transcription factor proteins (DP), a transactivation domain enriched in acidic amino acids, and a tumor suppressor protein association domain which is embedded within the transactivation domain. This protein and another 2 members, E2F2 and E2F3, have an additional cyclin binding domain. This protein binds preferentially to retinoblastoma protein pRB in a cell-cycle dependent manner. It can media
The E2F-1 Polyclonal Antibody is a highly specific and sensitive tool designed for the detection and quantification of E2F-1 protein in various biological samples. This antibody has been meticulously developed and rigorously validated to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
E2F-1 is a transcription factor that plays a crucial role in cell cycle regulation and is involved in the control of cell proliferation and apoptosis. Dysregulation of E2F-1 has been implicated in various diseases, including cancer. Therefore, accurate measurement of E2F-1 protein levels is of utmost importance in both research and clinical settings.
The E2F-1 Polyclonal Antibody exhibits exceptional specificity, binding exclusively to the E2F-1 protein without cross-reactivity to other E2F family members. This high specificity ensures accurate and reliable results, minimizing the risk of false positives or false negatives.
Furthermore, this antibody demonstrates excellent sensitivity, enabling the detection of low levels of E2F-1 protein in even the most challenging samples. Its superior sensitivity allows for precise quantification of E2F-1 expression, facilitating comprehensive analysis and interpretation of experimental data.
The E2F-1 Polyclonal Antibody has been extensively validated using various techniques, including Western blotting, immunohistochemistry, and immunofluorescence. Its performance has been consistently demonstrated across a wide range of sample types, including cell lysates, tissue sections, and whole organisms.
In addition to its exceptional performance, this antibody is manufactured using state-of-the-art techniques and undergoes stringent quality control measures to ensure batch-to-batch consistency and reproducibility. Each lot is thoroughly tested to meet the highest standards of quality, purity, and functionality.
Overall, the E2F-1 Polyclonal Antibody is a reliable and indispensable tool for researchers and clinicians alike, enabling accurate and precise measurement of E2F-1 protein levels.
