This gene encodes a member of the DNAJ protein family. DNAJ family members are characterized by a highly conserved amino acid stretch called the 'J-domain' and function as one of the two major classes of molecular chaperones involved in a wide range of cellular events, such as protein folding and oligomeric protein complex assembly. This family member may also play a role in polyglutamine aggregation in specific neurons. Alternative splicing of this gene results in multiple transcript variants; however, not all variants have been fully described.
The DNJB6 Polyclonal Antibody is a highly specific and sensitive antibody designed for the detection of DNJB6 protein in various biological samples. This antibody is produced by immunizing rabbits with a synthetic peptide corresponding to the C-terminal region of human DNJB6 protein. The resulting polyclonal antibody exhibits high affinity and specificity towards DNJB6 protein, making it an ideal tool for various applications such as Western blotting, immunohistochemistry, and immunofluorescence.
The DNJB6 Polyclonal Antibody is validated for use in human, mouse, and rat samples, and has been extensively tested for its specificity and sensitivity. It is a reliable and robust antibody that can detect DNJB6 protein in a wide range of sample types, including tissue lysates, cell lysates, and serum.
This antibody is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS buffer with 0.02% sodium azide as a preservative. It is available in various sizes to suit different experimental needs. The DNJB6 Polyclonal Antibody is a valuable tool for researchers studying the function and regulation of DNJB6 protein in various biological processes.
