This gene encodes a member of the cytochrome P450 superfamily of enzymes. The cytochrome P450 proteins are monooxygenases which catalyze many reactions involved in drug metabolism and synthesis of cholesterol, steroids and other lipids. This gene is part of a cluster of cytochrome P450 genes on chromosome 19 and encodes an enzyme thought to play a role in the 12(R)-lipoxygenase pathway. Mutations in this gene are the cause of ichthyosis lamellar type 3.
The CP4FN Polyclonal Antibody is a highly specific and sensitive antibody designed for use in various research applications. This antibody is produced by immunizing rabbits with a synthetic peptide corresponding to a specific region of the CP4FN protein. The resulting polyclonal antibody exhibits high affinity and specificity towards the CP4FN protein, making it an ideal tool for detecting and quantifying CP4FN in various biological samples.
The CP4FN Polyclonal Antibody has been extensively validated for use in Western blotting, immunohistochemistry, and immunofluorescence assays. It has been shown to detect CP4FN in a variety of tissues and cell types, including human, mouse, and rat. The antibody has also been shown to be highly sensitive, with a detection limit of as low as 0.1 ng/mL.
This antibody is supplied as a purified IgG fraction, which has been affinity-purified from rabbit serum. It is provided in a liquid format, with a concentration of 1 mg/mL. The antibody is supplied in a buffer containing 0.02% sodium azide as a preservative.
In summary, the CP4FN Polyclonal Antibody is a highly specific and sensitive tool for detecting and quantifying CP4FN in various biological samples. Its extensive validation and high sensitivity make it an ideal choice for researchers studying the CP4FN protein in various contexts.
