This gene encodes a member of the C-type lectin/C-type lectin-like domain (CTL/CTLD) superfamily. Members of this family share a common protein fold and have diverse functions, such as cell adhesion, cell-cell signalling, glycoprotein turnover, and roles in inflammation and immune response. The encoded type II transmembrane protein interacts with dnax-activation protein 12 and may play a role in cell activation. Alternative splice variants have been described but their full-length sequence has not been determined.
The CLC5A Polyclonal Antibody is a highly specific and sensitive tool for the detection and quantification of CLC5A protein in various biological samples. This antibody is produced by immunizing rabbits with a synthetic peptide corresponding to the C-terminal region of human CLC5A protein. The resulting polyclonal antibody exhibits high affinity and specificity towards CLC5A protein, making it an ideal reagent for various applications such as Western blotting, immunohistochemistry, and immunofluorescence.
The CLC5A Polyclonal Antibody has been extensively validated for its performance and reliability in detecting CLC5A protein in various tissues and cell lines. It has been shown to exhibit minimal cross-reactivity with other proteins, ensuring accurate and specific detection of CLC5A protein. Additionally, this antibody has been optimized for use in a variety of experimental conditions, including different sample types, dilutions, and detection methods.
In summary, the CLC5A Polyclonal Antibody is a high-quality reagent that provides reliable and specific detection of CLC5A protein in various biological samples. Its superior performance and versatility make it an essential tool for researchers studying the role of CLC5A in various physiological and pathological processes.
