This gene encodes a protein containing tetratricopeptide repeat and a U-box that functions as a ubiquitin ligase/cochaperone. The encoded protein binds to and ubiquitinates shock cognate 71 kDa protein (Hspa8) and DNA polymerase beta (Polb), among other targets. Mutations in this gene cause spinocerebellar ataxia, autosomal recessive 16. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants. There is a pseudogene for this gene on chromosome 2.
The CHIP Polyclonal Antibody is a highly specific and sensitive antibody designed for the detection of CHIP protein in various biological samples. This antibody is produced using high-quality polyclonal antibodies that have been extensively validated for their specificity and sensitivity. The CHIP Polyclonal Antibody is ideal for use in a wide range of applications, including Western blotting, immunohistochemistry, and immunofluorescence.
The CHIP protein is a key regulator of protein quality control and is involved in the degradation of misfolded and damaged proteins. The CHIP Polyclonal Antibody is designed to specifically recognize and bind to the CHIP protein, allowing for the accurate detection and quantification of this important protein in biological samples.
The CHIP Polyclonal Antibody is manufactured using state-of-the-art techniques and is rigorously tested to ensure its quality and performance. This antibody is supplied in a convenient format, making it easy to use in a variety of applications. With its high specificity and sensitivity, the CHIP Polyclonal Antibody is an essential tool for researchers studying protein quality control and related fields.
