The protein encoded by this gene is highly similar to the gene product of Schizosaccharomyces pombe rad17| a cell cycle checkpoint gene required for cell cycle arrest and DNA damage repair in response to DNA damage. This protein shares strong similarity with DNA replication factor C (RFC)| and can form a complex with RFCs. This protein binds to chromatin prior to DNA damage and is phosphorylated by the checkpoint kinase ATR following damage. This protein recruits the RAD1-RAD9-HUS1 checkpoint protein complex onto chromatin after DNA damage| which may be required for its phosphorylation. The phosphorylation of this protein is required for the DNA-damage-induced cell cycle G2 arrest| and is thought to be a critical early event during checkpoint signaling in DNA-damaged cells. Multiple alternatively spliced transcript variants of this gene| which encode four distinct protein isoforms| h

The RAD17(PHOSPHO-SER635) Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody is a highly specific and reliable tool for the detection and analysis of RAD17 protein phosphorylated at serine 635. This antibody has been meticulously developed and validated to ensure exceptional performance in various applications, including Western blotting, immunoprecipitation, and immunofluorescence.

The RAD17 protein plays a crucial role in the DNA damage response pathway, specifically in the activation of cell cycle checkpoints and DNA repair mechanisms. Phosphorylation of RAD17 at serine 635 is known to regulate its function and interaction with other proteins involved in DNA damage signaling.

Our RAD17(PHOSPHO-SER635) Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody exhibits exceptional sensitivity and specificity, enabling accurate detection and quantification of phosphorylated RAD17 protein in various biological samples. It has been rigorously tested and validated to ensure minimal cross-reactivity with non-phosphorylated RAD17 or other related proteins.

This antibody is produced using high-quality rabbit polyclonal antibodies, ensuring batch-to-batch consistency and reliability. It has been affinity-purified using a specific peptide corresponding to the phosphorylated serine 635 region of RAD17 protein, resulting in a highly specific antibody with minimal background noise.

The RAD17(PHOSPHO-SER635) Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody is supplied as a liquid formulation, ready for immediate use. It is provided in a convenient size of 100 µg, allowing for multiple experiments and applications. The antibody is stored in a stabilizing buffer to maintain its stability and activity over an extended period.

In summary, the RAD17(PHOSPHO-SER635) Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody is a reliable and specific tool for the detection and analysis of phosphorylated RAD17 protein. Its exceptional sensitivity and specificity make it an ideal choice for researchers studying DNA damage response pathways and related cellular processes.
