The protein encoded by this gene is a small GTPase of the Rho-subfamily| which regulates signaling pathways that control diverse cellular functions including cell morphology| migration| endocytosis and cell cycle progression. This protein is highly similar to Saccharomyces cerevisiae Cdc 42| and is able to complement the yeast cdc42-1 mutant. The product of oncogene Dbl was reported to specifically catalyze the dissociation of GDP from this protein. This protein could regulate actin polymerization through its direct binding to Neural Wiskott-Aldrich syndrome protein (N-WASP)| which subsequently activates Arp2/3 complex. Alternative splicing of this gene results in multiple transcript variants. Pseudogenes of this gene have been identified on chromosomes 3| 4| 5| 7| 8 and 20.
The RAC1/CDC42(PHOSPHO SER71) Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody is a highly specific and reliable tool for the detection and analysis of RAC1 and CDC42 proteins phosphorylated at serine 71. This antibody is produced using high-quality rabbit polyclonal antibodies, ensuring exceptional sensitivity and specificity.
RAC1 and CDC42 are small GTPases that play crucial roles in various cellular processes, including cell migration, cytoskeletal reorganization, and cell polarity. Phosphorylation of these proteins at serine 71 has been implicated in the regulation of their activity and downstream signaling pathways.
The RAC1/CDC42(PHOSPHO SER71) Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody has been extensively validated for its performance in various applications, including Western blotting, immunoprecipitation, and immunofluorescence. It exhibits minimal cross-reactivity with non-phosphorylated forms of RAC1 and CDC42, ensuring accurate and specific detection of the phosphorylated proteins.
This antibody is supplied as a liquid formulation, ready for immediate use. It is provided in a convenient size of 100 μg, ensuring ample supply for multiple experiments. The antibody has been rigorously tested for stability and quality, guaranteeing consistent and reliable results.
In summary, the RAC1/CDC42(PHOSPHO SER71) Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody is an indispensable tool for researchers studying the phosphorylation status and functional implications of RAC1 and CDC42 proteins. Its exceptional sensitivity, specificity, and versatility make it an ideal choice for a wide range of applications in cell biology and molecular biology research.
