In response to DNA damage and replication blocks| cell cycle progression is halted through the control of critical cell cycle regulators. The protein encoded by this gene is a cell cycle checkpoint regulator and putative tumor suppressor. It contains a forkhead-associated protein interaction domain essential for activation in response to DNA damage and is rapidly phosphorylated in response to replication blocks and DNA damage. When activated| the encoded protein is known to inhibit CDC25C phosphatase| preventing entry into mitosis| and has been shown to stabilize the tumor suppressor protein p53| leading to cell cycle arrest in G1. In addition| this protein interacts with and phosphorylates BRCA1| allowing BRCA1 to restore survival after DNA damage. Mutations in this gene have been linked with Li-Fraumeni syndrome| a highly penetrant familial cancer phenotype usually associated with inherited mutati

The Chk2(Phospho-Ser19) Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody is a highly specific and sensitive tool for the detection and quantification of Chk2 protein phosphorylated at Serine 19. This antibody has been rigorously validated for use in various applications, including Western blotting, immunohistochemistry, and immunofluorescence.

The Chk2 protein plays a crucial role in the DNA damage response pathway, acting as a key regulator of cell cycle checkpoints and DNA repair. Phosphorylation of Chk2 at Serine 19 is a critical event in the activation of its kinase activity, leading to downstream signaling cascades that promote cell cycle arrest and DNA repair.

This polyclonal antibody has been generated using high-quality rabbit immunoglobulins, ensuring excellent specificity and sensitivity. It has been extensively characterized and validated using both positive and negative controls to ensure reliable and reproducible results.

The Chk2(Phospho-Ser19) Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody exhibits minimal cross-reactivity with other phosphorylated proteins, ensuring accurate detection and quantification of Chk2 phosphorylation at Serine 19. It has been optimized for use in a variety of experimental conditions, including different sample types and species.

With its exceptional performance and reliability, the Chk2(Phospho-Ser19) Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody is an indispensable tool for researchers studying the DNA damage response pathway, cell cycle regulation, and DNA repair mechanisms. Its versatility and high specificity make it suitable for a wide range of applications, enabling precise and accurate analysis of Chk2 phosphorylation at Serine 19.
