The nuclear lamina consists of a two-dimensional matrix of proteins located next to the inner nuclear membrane. The lamin family of proteins make up the matrix and are highly conserved in evolution. During mitosis| the lamina matrix is reversibly disassembled as the lamin proteins are phosphorylated. Lamin proteins are thought to be involved in nuclear stability| chromatin structure and gene expression. Vertebrate lamins consist of two types| A and B. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants. Mutations in this gene lead to several diseases: Emery-Dreifuss muscular dystrophy| familial partial lipodystrophy| limb girdle muscular dystrophy| dilated cardiomyopathy| Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease| and Hutchinson-Gilford progeria syndrome.
The Lamin A/C(Phospho Ser392) Polyclonal Antibody is a highly specific and sensitive tool designed for the detection and quantification of Lamin A/C protein phosphorylated at Ser392. This antibody is produced using advanced polyclonal antibody technology, ensuring high affinity and specificity towards the target protein.
Lamin A/C is a key component of the nuclear lamina, a network of intermediate filaments that provides structural support to the nucleus. Phosphorylation of Lamin A/C at Ser392 has been implicated in various cellular processes, including nuclear envelope disassembly during mitosis and regulation of nuclear architecture.
This polyclonal antibody has been rigorously validated for its performance in various applications, including Western blotting, immunohistochemistry, and immunofluorescence. It exhibits excellent sensitivity and specificity, enabling accurate and reliable detection of phosphorylated Lamin A/C at Ser392 in various sample types.
The Lamin A/C(Phospho Ser392) Polyclonal Antibody is supplied as a ready-to-use solution, eliminating the need for time-consuming and error-prone antibody preparation. It is compatible with a wide range of experimental conditions and can be used in both research and clinical settings.
With its exceptional performance and reliability, the Lamin A/C(Phospho Ser392) Polyclonal Antibody is an indispensable tool for researchers and clinicians studying the role of Lamin A/C phosphorylation in cellular processes and diseases.
