XPA encodes a zinc finger protein involved in DNA excision repair. The DNA repair protein complementing XP-A cells is part of the NER (nucleotide excision repair) complext which is responsible for repair of UV radiation-induced photoproducts and DNA adducts induced by chemical carcinogens. Mutations in this gene are associated with xeroderma pigmentosum complementation group A. Alternatively spliced transcript variants have been found for this gene.
The XPA Polyclonal Antibody is a highly reliable and efficient tool designed for the detection and analysis of XPA protein expression in various biological samples. This antibody is produced using advanced immunization techniques, ensuring high specificity and sensitivity. It has been extensively validated for use in Western blotting, immunohistochemistry, and immunofluorescence applications.
The XPA Polyclonal Antibody exhibits exceptional performance in detecting XPA protein in a wide range of species, including human, mouse, and rat. It recognizes an epitope located within the N-terminal region of the XPA protein, enabling accurate and precise identification of XPA expression levels.
With its superior quality and performance, this antibody is an indispensable tool for researchers studying DNA repair mechanisms, nucleotide excision repair, and related fields. Its robustness and versatility make it suitable for use in both basic research and clinical applications.
The XPA Polyclonal Antibody is supplied as a liquid formulation, ensuring ease of use and convenience. It is provided in a ready-to-use format, eliminating the need for time-consuming preparation steps. Each batch of antibody undergoes rigorous quality control procedures to guarantee consistent and reliable results.
In summary, the XPA Polyclonal Antibody is a highly specific and sensitive reagent that enables accurate detection and analysis of XPA protein expression. Its exceptional performance, broad species reactivity, and ease of use make it an invaluable tool for researchers in various scientific disciplines.
