VDR (vitamin D (1,25- dihydroxyvitamin D3) receptor) encodes the nuclear hormone receptor for vitamin D3. This receptor also functions as a receptor for the secondary bile acid lithocholic acid. The receptor belongs to the family of trans-acting transcriptional regulatory factors and shows sequence similarity to the steroid and thyroid hormone receptors. Downstream targets of this nuclear hormone receptor are principally involved in mineral metabolism though the receptor regulates a variety of other metabolic pathways, such as those involved in the immune response and cancer. Mutations in VDR are associated with type II vitamin D-resistant rickets. A single nucleotide polymorphism in the initiation codon results in an alternate translation start site three codons downstream. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants encoding different proteins.

The VDR Polyclonal Antibody is a highly specific and reliable tool designed for the detection and quantification of Vitamin D Receptor (VDR) protein in various biological samples. This antibody is produced using a polyclonal approach, ensuring a diverse range of epitope recognition and enhanced sensitivity.

The VDR Polyclonal Antibody exhibits exceptional performance in a multitude of applications, including Western blotting, immunohistochemistry, and immunofluorescence. Its high affinity and specificity enable accurate and precise detection of VDR protein, facilitating comprehensive analysis of its expression and localization in different tissues and cell types.

This antibody is meticulously validated to ensure consistent and reproducible results. It has been extensively tested against a wide range of samples, including human, mouse, and rat tissues, guaranteeing its reliability and versatility across various species. The VDR Polyclonal Antibody demonstrates minimal cross-reactivity with other proteins, ensuring minimal interference and accurate interpretation of results.

Furthermore, this antibody is manufactured using state-of-the-art techniques and stringent quality control measures. It is produced in a GMP-compliant facility, ensuring the highest standards of purity, stability, and consistency. Each batch of the VDR Polyclonal Antibody undergoes rigorous quality testing to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

In summary, the VDR Polyclonal Antibody is a superior research tool that offers exceptional sensitivity, specificity, and reliability for the detection and quantification of VDR protein. Its diverse applications and stringent quality control measures make it an invaluable asset for researchers in the fields of molecular biology, biochemistry, and immunology.
