VAV1 (vav guanine nucleotide exchange factor 1) is a member of the VAV gene family. The VAV proteins are guanine nucleotide exchange factors (GEFs) for Rho family GTPases that activate pathways leading to actin cytoskeletal rearrangements and transcriptional alterations. The encoded protein is important in hematopoiesis, playing a role in T-cell and B-cell development and activation. The encoded protein has been identified as the specific binding partner of Nef proteins from HIV-1. Coexpression and binding of these partners initiates profound morphological changes, cytoskeletal rearrangements and the JNK/SAPK signaling cascade, leading to increased levels of viral transcription and replication. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding multiple isoforms have been observed for VAV1.

The Vav Polyclonal Antibody is a highly specific and reliable tool designed for the detection and analysis of Vav protein expression in various biological samples. This antibody is produced using advanced immunization techniques, ensuring high affinity and sensitivity. With its exceptional performance, this antibody enables accurate and precise identification of Vav protein in Western blotting, immunohistochemistry, and immunofluorescence applications.

The Vav Polyclonal Antibody exhibits excellent specificity, exhibiting minimal cross-reactivity with other proteins, thus ensuring reliable and accurate results. Its robust and consistent performance guarantees reproducibility, making it an ideal choice for both research and diagnostic purposes.

This antibody is supplied as a liquid formulation, allowing for easy and convenient handling. It is provided in a ready-to-use format, eliminating the need for time-consuming and complex preparation steps. The Vav Polyclonal Antibody is compatible with a wide range of sample types, including cell lysates, tissue extracts, and whole-cell lysates, making it versatile and adaptable to various experimental setups.

Furthermore, this antibody demonstrates exceptional stability, ensuring long-term storage without compromising its performance. It is recommended to store the antibody at -20°C to maintain its integrity and functionality.

In summary, the Vav Polyclonal Antibody is a highly reliable and specific tool for the detection and analysis of Vav protein expression. Its exceptional performance, versatility, and stability make it an indispensable asset for researchers and clinicians alike, facilitating accurate and precise investigations in the field of molecular biology and beyond.
