Transglutaminases are enzymes that catalyze the crosslinking of proteins by epsilon-gamma glutamyl lysine isopeptide bonds. While the primary structure of transglutaminases is not conserved, they all have the same amino acid sequence at their active sites and their activity is calcium-dependent. Protein-glutamine gamma-glutamyltransferase 2 encoded by TGM2 acts as a monomer, is induced by retinoic acid, and appears to be involved in apoptosis. Finally, the protein-glutamine gamma-glutamyltransferase 2 is the autoantigen implicated in celiac disease. Two transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.

The TGase2 Polyclonal Antibody is a highly specific and sensitive tool designed for the detection and analysis of transglutaminase 2 (TGase2) protein. This antibody is produced using advanced immunization techniques, ensuring high affinity and specificity towards TGase2.

Transglutaminase 2 is a multifunctional enzyme that plays a crucial role in various biological processes, including cell adhesion, apoptosis, and tissue repair. It is widely expressed in different tissues and has been implicated in several diseases, such as celiac disease, neurodegenerative disorders, and cancer.

The TGase2 Polyclonal Antibody is rigorously tested for its performance and reliability in various applications, including Western blotting, immunohistochemistry, and immunofluorescence. It exhibits exceptional sensitivity, enabling the detection of even low levels of TGase2 protein in complex biological samples.

This antibody is produced using high-quality materials and undergoes stringent quality control procedures to ensure batch-to-batch consistency and reproducibility. It is supplied as a liquid formulation, ready for immediate use, and is compatible with a wide range of experimental conditions.

With its exceptional specificity, sensitivity, and reliability, the TGase2 Polyclonal Antibody is an indispensable tool for researchers and scientists studying the role of TGase2 in various biological processes and diseases.
