TFPI encodes a Kunitz-type serine protease inhibitor that regulates the tissue factor (TF)-dependent pathway of blood coagulation. The coagulation process initiates with the formation of a factor VIIa-TF complex, which proteolytically activates additional proteases (factors IX and X) and ultimately leads to the formation of a fibrin clot. The product of this gene inhibits the activated factor X and VIIa-TF proteases in an autoregulatory loop. Inhibition of the encoded protein restores hemostasis in animal models of hemophilia. This gene encodes multiple protein isoforms that differ in their inhibitory activity, specificity and cellular localization.

The TFPI Polyclonal Antibody is a highly specific and reliable tool designed for the detection and quantification of Tissue Factor Pathway Inhibitor (TFPI) in various biological samples. This antibody is produced using advanced techniques, ensuring exceptional quality and performance.

TFPI is a crucial regulator of the coagulation cascade, playing a pivotal role in maintaining hemostasis. Dysregulation of TFPI has been implicated in various pathological conditions, including thrombosis and bleeding disorders. Therefore, accurate measurement of TFPI levels is of utmost importance in both research and clinical settings.

The TFPI Polyclonal Antibody exhibits excellent sensitivity and specificity, enabling precise and reproducible results. It has been extensively validated for various applications, including Western blotting, immunohistochemistry, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assays (ELISA). This antibody recognizes both the full-length and truncated forms of TFPI, ensuring comprehensive detection.

Furthermore, the TFPI Polyclonal Antibody demonstrates exceptional versatility, exhibiting robust performance across a wide range of species, including human, mouse, and rat. This broad reactivity allows for seamless integration into diverse experimental setups, facilitating comprehensive investigations.

With its superior quality and performance, the TFPI Polyclonal Antibody is an indispensable tool for researchers and clinicians alike. Its accurate and reliable detection of TFPI levels will contribute to a deeper understanding of coagulation disorders and aid in the development of novel therapeutic strategies.
