SYT11 is a member of the synaptotagmin gene family and encodes Synaptotagmin-11 similar to other family members that are known calcium sensors and mediate calcium-dependent regulation of membrane trafficking in synaptic transmission. The encoded protein is also a substrate for ubiquitin-E3-ligase parkin. The gene has previously been referred to as synaptotagmin XII but has been renamed synaptotagmin XI to be consistent with mouse and rat official nomenclature.

The Synaptotagmin XI Polyclonal Antibody is a highly specific and sensitive antibody designed for the detection of Synaptotagmin XI protein in various biological samples. This antibody is produced by immunizing rabbits with a synthetic peptide corresponding to the C-terminal region of human Synaptotagmin XI protein. The antibody has been purified using protein A affinity chromatography and is supplied as a liquid in phosphate-buffered saline (PBS) with 0.02% sodium azide as a preservative.

The Synaptotagmin XI Polyclonal Antibody has been extensively validated for use in various applications, including Western blotting, immunohistochemistry, and immunofluorescence. It has been shown to specifically recognize Synaptotagmin XI protein in human, mouse, and rat tissues. This antibody has also been shown to be highly sensitive, with a detection limit of 0.1 ng of recombinant Synaptotagmin XI protein.

This antibody is an essential tool for researchers studying the role of Synaptotagmin XI in various biological processes, including synaptic vesicle exocytosis, neurotransmitter release, and neuronal development. Its high specificity and sensitivity make it an ideal choice for detecting Synaptotagmin XI protein in complex biological samples.

In summary, the Synaptotagmin XI Polyclonal Antibody is a reliable and effective tool for the detection of Synaptotagmin XI protein in various biological samples. Its high specificity and sensitivity make it an essential tool for researchers studying the role of Synaptotagmin XI in various biological processes.
