This intronless gene encodes a transcription factor that is a member of the high mobility group (HMG)-box family of DNA-binding proteins. Sex-determining region Y protein is the testis-determining factor (TDF), which initiates male sex determination. Mutations in this gene give rise to XY females with gonadal dysgenesis (Swyer syndrome); translocation of part of the Y chromosome containing this gene to the X chromosome causes XX male syndrome.
The SRY Polyclonal Antibody is a highly specific and reliable tool for the detection and analysis of the SRY protein. This antibody has been extensively validated and exhibits exceptional sensitivity and specificity in various applications, including Western blotting, immunohistochemistry, and immunofluorescence.
The SRY Polyclonal Antibody is produced using state-of-the-art techniques, ensuring high purity and batch-to-batch consistency. It is derived from a rabbit host, resulting in a robust immune response and enhanced affinity towards the target protein. This antibody has been affinity-purified using a recombinant SRY protein, further enhancing its specificity and reducing non-specific binding.
With its exceptional performance characteristics, the SRY Polyclonal Antibody is an invaluable tool for researchers studying sex determination and differentiation. It enables the accurate detection and quantification of the SRY protein, facilitating a deeper understanding of its role in various biological processes.
The SRY Polyclonal Antibody is provided in a convenient and user-friendly format, with a liquid formulation that eliminates the need for reconstitution. It is supplied in a 1 mg vial, ensuring an ample supply for multiple experiments. The antibody is also accompanied by a detailed datasheet, providing comprehensive information on its recommended usage, storage conditions, and handling instructions.
Choose the SRY Polyclonal Antibody for its exceptional performance, reliability, and ease of use. It is a valuable tool for researchers in the field of sex determination and differentiation, enabling accurate and precise analysis of the SRY protein.
