SFTPA2 is one of several genes encoding pulmonary-surfactant associated proteins (SFTPA) located on chromosome 10. Mutations in this gene and a highly similar gene located nearby, which affect the highly conserved carbohydrate recognition domain, are associated with idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis. The current version of the assembly displays only a single centromeric SFTPA gene pair rather than the two gene pairs shown in the previous assembly which were thought to have resulted from a duplication.

The SP-A Polyclonal Antibody is a highly specific and reliable tool for the detection and quantification of SP-A protein in various biological samples. This antibody has been extensively validated and exhibits exceptional sensitivity and specificity, ensuring accurate and reproducible results.

The SP-A Polyclonal Antibody is produced using state-of-the-art techniques, guaranteeing high purity and batch-to-batch consistency. It has been rigorously tested for cross-reactivity with other proteins to ensure minimal interference and reliable performance.

This antibody is suitable for a wide range of applications, including Western blotting, immunohistochemistry, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assays (ELISA). It is compatible with various sample types, including cell lysates, tissue homogenates, and biological fluids.

The SP-A Polyclonal Antibody offers exceptional versatility and can be used in both research and clinical settings. Its high affinity and specificity make it an ideal choice for studying SP-A protein expression and function in various physiological and pathological conditions.

With its superior performance and reliability, the SP-A Polyclonal Antibody is an indispensable tool for researchers and clinicians working in the fields of immunology, respiratory diseases, and pulmonary research. Trust in its exceptional quality to enhance your scientific investigations and advance your understanding of SP-A protein biology.
