The Drosophila embryonic protein snail is a zinc finger transcriptional repressor which downregulates the expression of ectodermal genes within the mesoderm. The zinc finger protein SNAI1 encoded by SNAI1 is structurally similar to the Drosophila snail protein, and is also thought to be critical for mesoderm formation in the developing embryo. At least two variants of a similar processed pseudogene have been found on chromosome 2.
The SNAI 1 Polyclonal Antibody is a highly specific and sensitive antibody designed for the detection of SNAI 1 protein in various biological samples. This antibody is produced by immunizing rabbits with a synthetic peptide corresponding to the C-terminal region of human SNAI 1 protein. The antibody has been purified using protein A affinity chromatography and is supplied as a liquid solution in phosphate-buffered saline (PBS) with 0.02% sodium azide as a preservative.
The SNAI 1 Polyclonal Antibody has been extensively validated for its specificity and sensitivity in various applications, including Western blotting, immunohistochemistry, and immunofluorescence. It recognizes a single band of approximately 30 kDa in Western blot analysis of SNAI 1 protein in various cell lines and tissues. The antibody also shows strong staining of SNAI 1 protein in formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded human tissues in immunohistochemistry.
This antibody is an essential tool for researchers studying the role of SNAI 1 protein in various biological processes, including epithelial-mesenchymal transition, cancer metastasis, and stem cell differentiation. It is available in various sizes and formats to meet the specific needs of different applications. The SNAI 1 Polyclonal Antibody is a reliable and high-quality reagent that provides accurate and reproducible results in various experimental settings.
