SIRT3 encodes a member of the sirtuin family of proteins, homologs to the yeast Sir2 protein. Members of the sirtuin family are characterized by a sirtuin core domain and grouped into four classes. The functions of human sirtuins have not yet been determined; however, yeast sirtuin proteins are known to regulate epigenetic gene silencing and suppress recombination of rDNA. Studies suggest that the human sirtuins may function as intracellular regulatory proteins with mono-ADP-ribosyltransferase activity. The sirtuin 3 encoded by SIRT3 is included in class I of the sirtuin family. Two alternatively spliced transcript variants that encode different proteins have been described for this gene.

The SIRT3 Polyclonal Antibody is a highly specific and reliable tool for the detection and quantification of SIRT3 protein levels in various biological samples. This antibody has been extensively validated for its specificity and sensitivity, ensuring accurate and reproducible results.

SIRT3, a member of the sirtuin family of proteins, plays a crucial role in regulating cellular metabolism and energy homeostasis. It is primarily localized in the mitochondria and is involved in the deacetylation of various mitochondrial proteins, thereby modulating their activity and function. Dysregulation of SIRT3 has been implicated in various diseases, including cancer, neurodegenerative disorders, and metabolic disorders.

The SIRT3 Polyclonal Antibody has been developed using high-quality immunogens and advanced immunization techniques, resulting in a highly specific antibody with minimal cross-reactivity. It has been rigorously tested against a panel of related proteins to ensure its specificity for SIRT3. Additionally, this antibody has been validated for various applications, including Western blotting, immunohistochemistry, and immunofluorescence.

With its exceptional sensitivity and specificity, the SIRT3 Polyclonal Antibody offers researchers a reliable tool for studying the expression and localization of SIRT3 in different tissues and cell types. Its versatility and robust performance make it an ideal choice for both basic research and clinical applications.

Order the SIRT3 Polyclonal Antibody today and unlock new insights into the role of SIRT3 in cellular metabolism and disease pathogenesis.
