The protein encoded by PTHLH (parathyroid hormone like hormone) is a member of the parathyroid hormone family. This hormone, via its receptor, PTHR1, regulates endochondral bone development and epithelial-mesenchymal interactions during the formation of the mammary glands and teeth. It is responsible for most cases of humoral hypercalcemia of malignancy, and mutations in PTHLH are associated with brachydactyly type E2 (BDE2). Alternatively spliced transcript variants have been found for PTHLH. There is also evidence for alternative translation initiation from non-AUG (CUG and GUG) start sites, downstream of the initiator AUG codon, resulting in nuclear forms of this hormone.
The PTH-rP Polyclonal Antibody is a highly specific and sensitive antibody that has been designed to detect and quantify the presence of parathyroid hormone-related protein (PTH-rP) in various biological samples. This antibody has been extensively validated for use in a wide range of applications, including Western blotting, immunohistochemistry, and ELISA.
The PTH-rP Polyclonal Antibody has been produced using high-quality materials and state-of-the-art techniques to ensure maximum specificity and sensitivity. It has been rigorously tested to ensure that it does not cross-react with other proteins or molecules, ensuring accurate and reliable results.
This antibody is suitable for use in a variety of research applications, including studies of bone metabolism, cancer, and endocrine disorders. It is also an essential tool for researchers studying the role of PTH-rP in various physiological processes.
Overall, the PTH-rP Polyclonal Antibody is a highly reliable and effective tool for researchers looking to study the role of PTH-rP in various biological processes. Its high specificity and sensitivity make it an essential tool for any laboratory working in this field.
