The human pregnancy-specific glycoproteins (PSGs) are a family of proteins that are synthesized in large amounts by placental trophoblasts and released into the maternal circulation during pregnancy. Molecular cloning and analysis of several PSG genes has indicated that the PSGs form a subgroup of the carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA) gene family, which belongs to the immunoglobulin superfamily of genes. Members of the CEA family consist of a single N domain, with structural similarity to the immunoglobulin variable domains, followed by a variable number of immunoglobulin constant-like A and/or B domains. Most PSGs have an arg-gly-asp (RGD) motif, which has been shown to function as an adhesion recognition signal for several integrins, in the N-terminal domain (summary by Teglund et al. 1994 [PubMed 7851896]). For additional general information about the PSG gene family, see PSG1 (MIM 176390).

The PSG3 Polyclonal Antibody is a highly specific and reliable tool designed for the detection and quantification of Pregnancy-specific beta-1-glycoprotein 3 (PSG3) in various biological samples. This antibody has been meticulously developed and validated to ensure exceptional performance and accuracy in a wide range of applications, including Western blotting, immunohistochemistry, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assays (ELISA).

PSG3 is a member of the pregnancy-specific glycoprotein (PSG) family, which plays a crucial role in the regulation of maternal-fetal interactions during pregnancy. PSG3 is primarily expressed in the placenta and exhibits unique immunomodulatory properties that contribute to the establishment and maintenance of a successful pregnancy. Its aberrant expression has been associated with various pregnancy-related disorders, making PSG3 a valuable biomarker for diagnostic and research purposes.

The PSG3 Polyclonal Antibody has been meticulously produced using state-of-the-art techniques, ensuring high specificity and sensitivity. It has been extensively validated against a variety of samples, including placental tissues and cell lines, to guarantee reliable and reproducible results. This antibody exhibits minimal cross-reactivity with other PSG family members, ensuring accurate detection and quantification of PSG3.

With its exceptional performance characteristics, the PSG3 Polyclonal Antibody offers researchers and clinicians a powerful tool for investigating the role of PSG3 in pregnancy-related disorders and exploring its potential as a diagnostic marker. Its versatility and reliability make it an ideal choice for a wide range of applications, enabling comprehensive and accurate analysis of PSG3 expression in various biological samples.

In summary, the PSG3 Polyclonal Antibody is a highly specific and reliable tool that enables accurate detection and quantification of PSG3 in diverse biological samples. Its exceptional performance characteristics, extensive validation, and minimal cross-reactivity make it an invaluable asset for researchers and clinicians studying pregnancy-related disorders and exploring the diagnostic potential of PSG3.
