Kallikreins are a subgroup of serine proteases having diverse physiological functions. Growing evidence suggests that many kallikreins are implicated in carcinogenesis and some have potential as novel cancer and other disease biomarkers. KLK3 is one of the fifteen kallikrein subfamily members located in a cluster on chromosome 19. Its protein product is a protease present in seminal plasma. It is thought to function normally in the liquefaction of seminal coagulum, presumably by hydrolysis of the high molecular mass seminal vesicle protein. Serum level of this protein, called PSA in the clinical setting, is useful in the diagnosis and monitoring of prostatic carcinoma. Alternate splicing of this gene generates several transcript variants encoding different isoforms.

The PSA Polyclonal Antibody is a highly specific and sensitive immunological tool designed for the detection and quantification of Prostate-Specific Antigen (PSA) in various biological samples. This antibody is produced by immunizing animals with a purified recombinant PSA protein, ensuring its high affinity and specificity towards the target antigen.

The PSA Polyclonal Antibody exhibits exceptional performance in a wide range of applications, including Western blotting, immunohistochemistry, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assays (ELISA). Its superior sensitivity allows for the accurate measurement of PSA levels even at low concentrations, making it an invaluable tool for research and diagnostic purposes.

This antibody is manufactured using state-of-the-art techniques and undergoes rigorous quality control measures to ensure batch-to-batch consistency and reliability. It is supplied as a ready-to-use solution, eliminating the need for time-consuming and error-prone antibody preparation.

The PSA Polyclonal Antibody offers exceptional value for researchers and clinicians seeking a reliable and efficient tool for the detection and quantification of PSA. Its high specificity, sensitivity, and ease of use make it an indispensable asset in prostate cancer research, diagnosis, and monitoring. Trust in the PSA Polyclonal Antibody to deliver accurate and reproducible results, enabling advancements in the understanding and management of prostate-related disorders.
