Kallikreins are a subgroup of serine proteases having diverse physiological functions. Growing evidence suggests that many kallikreins are implicated in carcinogenesis and some have potential as novel cancer and other disease biomarkers. KLK3 is one of the fifteen kallikrein subfamily members located in a cluster on chromosome 19. Its protein product is a protease present in seminal plasma. It is thought to function normally in the liquefaction of seminal coagulum, presumably by hydrolysis of the high molecular mass seminal vesicle protein. Serum level of this protein, called PSA in the clinical setting, is useful in the diagnosis and monitoring of prostatic carcinoma. Alternate splicing of this gene generates several transcript variants encoding different isoforms.

The PSA Polyclonal Antibody is a highly specific and sensitive immunological tool designed for the detection and quantification of Prostate-Specific Antigen (PSA) in various biological samples. This antibody is produced by immunizing animals with a purified recombinant PSA protein, ensuring its high affinity and specificity towards the target antigen.

The PSA Polyclonal Antibody exhibits exceptional performance in a wide range of applications, including Western blotting, immunohistochemistry, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assays (ELISA). Its superior sensitivity allows for the accurate measurement of PSA levels even at low concentrations, making it an invaluable tool for research and diagnostic purposes.

This antibody is manufactured under stringent quality control measures to ensure batch-to-batch consistency and reproducibility. It is supplied as a ready-to-use solution, eliminating the need for time-consuming and error-prone antibody preparation. The PSA Polyclonal Antibody is compatible with various sample types, including serum, plasma, and tissue lysates, providing flexibility and convenience in experimental design.

With its exceptional specificity, sensitivity, and reliability, the PSA Polyclonal Antibody is an indispensable tool for researchers and clinicians working in the field of prostate cancer research and diagnosis. Its accurate and precise detection of PSA levels enables the identification and monitoring of prostate cancer progression, aiding in the development of effective therapeutic strategies.

Choose the PSA Polyclonal Antibody for its exceptional performance, reliability, and ease of use, and unlock new possibilities in your research and diagnostic endeavors.
