PGR (progesterone receptor) encodes a member of the steroid receptor superfamily. The encoded protein mediates the physiological effects of progesterone, which plays a central role in reproductive events associated with the establishment and maintenance of pregnancy. This gene uses two distinct promotors and translation start sites in the first exon to produce several transcript variants, both protein coding and non-protein coding. Two of the isoforms (A and B) are identical except for an additional 165 amino acids found in the N-terminus of isoform B and mediate their own response genes and physiologic effects with little overlap.
The PR Polyclonal Antibody is a highly specific and reliable tool designed for the detection and quantification of the progesterone receptor (PR) protein in various biological samples. This antibody is produced using a polyclonal approach, ensuring a diverse range of antibodies that recognize different epitopes of the PR protein.
The PR Polyclonal Antibody exhibits exceptional sensitivity and specificity, enabling accurate and precise measurement of PR expression levels. It has been extensively validated for use in various applications, including Western blotting, immunohistochemistry, and immunofluorescence.
This antibody is manufactured using state-of-the-art techniques and undergoes rigorous quality control to ensure consistent and reliable performance. It is supplied as a ready-to-use solution, eliminating the need for time-consuming and complex preparation steps.
The PR Polyclonal Antibody is suitable for use in both research and clinical settings, providing valuable insights into the role of PR in various physiological and pathological processes. Its versatility and robustness make it an indispensable tool for scientists and clinicians studying hormone signaling pathways and investigating PR-related diseases.
Choose the PR Polyclonal Antibody for its exceptional performance, reliability, and ease of use, and unlock new possibilities in your research or diagnostic endeavors.
