SERPINF1 (serpin family F member 1) encodes a member of the serpin family that does not display the serine protease inhibitory activity shown by many of the other serpin proteins. The encoded protein is secreted and strongly inhibits angiogenesis. In addition, this protein is a neurotrophic factor involved in neuronal differentiation in retinoblastoma cells. Mutations in this gene were found in individuals with osteogenesis imperfecta, type VI.

The PEDF Polyclonal Antibody is a highly specific and sensitive immunological tool designed for the detection and quantification of Pigment Epithelium-Derived Factor (PEDF) in various biological samples. This antibody is produced by immunizing rabbits with a synthetic peptide corresponding to a specific region of the PEDF protein.

The PEDF Polyclonal Antibody exhibits exceptional affinity and selectivity towards PEDF, ensuring accurate and reliable results in a wide range of applications, including Western blotting, immunohistochemistry, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assays (ELISA). Its high sensitivity allows for the detection of even low levels of PEDF, making it an ideal choice for both qualitative and quantitative analysis.

This antibody is supplied as a liquid formulation, ready for immediate use. It has been rigorously tested for quality and performance, ensuring consistent and reproducible results. The PEDF Polyclonal Antibody is provided in a convenient size, allowing for multiple experiments without compromising its stability or efficacy.

With its exceptional specificity, sensitivity, and reliability, the PEDF Polyclonal Antibody is an indispensable tool for researchers and scientists studying the role of PEDF in various physiological and pathological processes. Its application in diverse research areas, such as cancer biology, neurobiology, and ocular diseases, makes it a valuable asset in advancing scientific knowledge and understanding.

Order the PEDF Polyclonal Antibody today and unlock new insights into the intricate mechanisms involving PEDF, paving the way for groundbreaking discoveries and advancements in biomedical research.
