The pyruvate dehydrogenase (PDH) complex is a nuclear-encoded mitochondrial multienzyme complex that catalyzes the overall conversion of pyruvate to acetyl-CoA and CO(2), and provides the primary link between glycolysis and the tricarboxylic acid (TCA) cycle. The PDH complex is composed of multiple copies of three enzymatic components: pyruvate dehydrogenase (E1), dihydrolipoamide acetyltransferase (E2) and lipoamide dehydrogenase (E3). The E1 enzyme is a heterotetramer of two alpha and two beta subunits. PDHA1 encodes the E1 alpha 1 subunit containing the E1 active site, and plays a key role in the function of the PDH complex. Mutations in PDHA1 are associated with pyruvate dehydrogenase E1-alpha deficiency and X-linked Leigh syndrome. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for PDHA1.

The PDHA1 Polyclonal Antibody is a highly specific and reliable tool designed for the detection and analysis of the pyruvate dehydrogenase E1 alpha 1 subunit (PDHA1) protein. This antibody is produced using advanced immunization techniques, ensuring its high affinity and sensitivity towards PDHA1.

The PDHA1 Polyclonal Antibody exhibits exceptional performance in various applications, including Western blotting, immunohistochemistry, and immunofluorescence. It enables accurate and precise identification of PDHA1 protein expression levels in a wide range of samples, such as cell lysates, tissue sections, and whole organisms.

With its superior specificity, this antibody guarantees minimal cross-reactivity with other proteins, ensuring reliable and reproducible results. Its robustness and consistency make it an ideal choice for both qualitative and quantitative analysis of PDHA1 protein expression in various research areas, including metabolism, mitochondrial function, and genetic disorders.

The PDHA1 Polyclonal Antibody is manufactured under strict quality control standards, ensuring batch-to-batch consistency and reliability. It is supplied in a ready-to-use format, eliminating the need for time-consuming and complicated antibody preparation procedures.

In summary, the PDHA1 Polyclonal Antibody is a valuable tool for researchers seeking to investigate the role and function of PDHA1 protein. Its high specificity, sensitivity, and versatility make it an indispensable asset in various experimental settings, facilitating groundbreaking discoveries and advancements in the field of molecular biology.
